LIS How to Create a Key Figure in a User Defined Structure

Hi

I want to make use of the Early Warning System (EWS) by creating an exception whenever the Stock Level (not considering Goods Receipts) falls below a threshold. This will alert me (via email) of any material where a follow up of any transit (Purchase Order) is needed or where a new PO needs to be created.

I'm thinking on using Info Structure S094

Just as an example I was thinking on creating a Key Figure made of: Total stock - Goods Receipt (MRP)

Is my understanding that I would need to create a User Define Structure and from there the Key Figure. Is that correct ?

Or should I create a Info Structure and in there create the Key Future which is going to be the one used in the exception ?
