Planning to upgrade 3.1 fp 3.2 to SP5 and finally SP7

Hi Experts,

In Deve/QA/Prod servers we have different database installed and pulling data for reports.

Ex: We have SQL Server 2000/2005/2008

      Oracle 10g/11g

      IBM DB2

My questions is If I go upgrade patch from SP3 to SP7 is there any effect to Database in this process..?

If yes, then what are the steps need to follow and how to get this successful.
