Hello Friends

We use ASC810_004010 as outbound from PI in our mapping. In this structure, we specify Data Element Separator as ^ (caret) using UDF function. I have attached screen shot.

After mapping, we could see this symbol in the xml file.

In receiver channel, we use module localejbs/X12ConverterModule to convert XML to EDI file.

Please find the module parameter screen shot.

The XML was processed successfully through channel. It did not give any error.

But, when we check the output edi file, the data element separator it prints as '*' (it takes default value). It did not consider ^.

I referred the following blog. But I could not figure out how to handle this character (^) as data element separator.

Could you please clarify, Friends ?

Thank you.

Kind regards,
